The Buffalo Sabres decided this summer that they were going to re-develop their jerseys and head back to their roots, by adopting the original blue and gold colour scheme that everyone loves so much. What they ended up developing, was a ugly looking, legless slug-buffalo, that just looks like a joke. The interesting thing is, for me, is that this logo is very similiar to the University of Manitoba logo, so go figure. But, for this hockey team, which this history, it doesn’t look proper at all. I really, really hope that the Sabres don’t go ahead and use this as their full-time logo.
I’m not the only one who feels this way, and there is petition after petition to get the Buffalo owners to backtrack from their ugly creation. There even is a full proposal for an update of their original jerseys that are so popular, which just looks great. It’s time for Buffalo owners to step back, and think about this for just one moment. Fans, who pay tickets, want to see an updated original jersey, if not just the original. Fans, are the ones who provide you profit. Do what is right, and get rid of the Buffalo Slug, and bring back the swords!

Reminds me of a German NFL Europe team, infact bar the gold rather than orange the logo could be an exact copy.
I just want the Canucks Vintage jerseys to become the normal ones, might me I have a hope of getting one for less than £150 :D
